I am an Assistant Professor in Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. I recently completed an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard University, working with Dr. Daniel Schacter. I study memory and judgment across the lifespan, with a specific focus on cognitive “shortcuts” people use to evaluate truth. My research identifies why young and older adults fall for fake news and misinformation.
I am recruiting a graduate student during the Fall 2022 application cycle.
